Our Fresh Turkey & Salmon Special Formula for Senior Dogs
As dogs age their metabolism rate lowers and physical activity is decreased making them more prone to obesity. Having extra weight means more stress for the joints. A food with above average protein levels with a low-fat content and low calories is preferable. Glucosamine and chondroitin are also needed to support their joints which may already be inflamed from arthritis or hip dysplasia. To cater for their sensitive stomach, we have used fish proteins in all of our Senior recipes, as fish is the easiest protein to digest. Enhancing that is the inclusion of our Pure Care digestive formula consisting of prebiotics, probiotics and Clay Minerals which aid digestion and prevent digestive upsets. Poultry (30% of which fresh deboned turkey 15% and dehydrated chicken protein15%), dried potato flakes, green peas, green split peas, hydrolyzed animal protein (9%), animal fat (6%), dehydrated salmon protein (4%), dried beet pulp, flax seed, dried chicory (a natural source of FOS and inulin), minerals, dried brewer’s yeast, yeast extract (a natural source of MOS and beta glucans), glucosamine hydrochloride (300 mg/kg), chondroitin sulfate (300 mg/kg), dried broccoli, dried spinach, dried tomatoes, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, blend of plant extract (Rosemarinus sp, Vitis sp, Curcuma sp, Citrus sp, Eugenia sp).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE:
The product should be given dry. The dog should always have fresh water available. Store in cool and dry place. Use preferably before the Best Before Date which is printed on the packaging. Please ensure the pack is properly closed after opening.
